Does they style of music released vary with the time of year?

In a similar way to how women change their moods when ('scuse me ladies) the painters are in, does the style of music change with the time of year, cos I think during the summer the tunes are on the whole a lot more uplifting and euphoric, whereas during the winter, tunes seem to be slightly darker...

Good point Doggie. I agree. It's nice in the winter when a summery type tune comes out and vice-versa though.

I'm not sure really, but I have noticed that my style tends to change a little with seasons. Tend to play more Housey in the end of Spring/Summer. Probably because of all the stuff filtering through from Miami, etc.
Tend to play much darker and proggier in the Winter too.

Of course it does, labels will hold tracks back for Miami, Ibiza or whatever because it creates a buzz which sells MORE records.

Yes I agree. I also thing alot of producers also hold back some of there best tunes for the like's of miami so that they are nice and fresh for the summer(Ibiza), so that could be one of the reason's why you get the style/time of year thingy going on
