I know the single biggest reason that clubbing is in a trough at the mo in toon and it aint the credit crunch

Still love it myself like, alot of the lads I first used to got to raves with have turned into long haired biggmarket faggots nd wouldnt consider going to raves anymore, so it seems theres hardly any of us out now when we go out, been like that for a good while though but we still manage to have a jolly good time :cool2:

    get a grip!

you either love clubbing for the right reasons (the music!) or the wrong reasons (the drugs!)

I might have known there would be a woman/kid involved, they've been the instigator in many a young lads clubbing retirement, don't let yourself be the next victim mate! I still love it me aswell, especially with all the smaller nights popping up this year, had some quality nights already, long may it continue.

I think I've grown out of it. Ever since Foundation/Promise ended, I seemed to have died a long with it. All my money used to go into clubbing and i didn't care if i waxed my whole weeks pay before Sunday morning even arrived. These days, I'd much rather save the money and buy clothes or something and make do with cheap drink in a house somewhere.

It's got nowt to do with drugs either ;)

I have grown sick of club clubbing but still retain my love for the music (and the drugs). Its all about house parties, outdoor raves and events for me :king:

Fuck paying a fifteen quid to get into a club to get fleeced on drinks and have to go outside for a tab.

I was standing jumping around on the dancefloor of digital in feb and when I paused for a second I realised that 2 of our combined ages were greater than 90

and if you added in the 3rd I think we cleared 120

It's not age as much as repetition. If you keep doing the same thing over and over again, it's going to get boring.

With the different nights in town covering a load of different genres surely its not boring though or repetitive as every event is different? How can an event be repetitive with different dj's on every lineup, this year the lineups in newcastle have got better and better imo.

If you overdo anything, the only way is down eh.

I'd get bored of doing the week-in-week-out-same-club-same-people thing all the time if i did it for years.

.... personally i still love it as much as ever even if i am heading into 'phase 2' clubbing of the 30's and aboves ..... i just find it more interesting to travel around, try a variety of genres and mix and match the absolute carnage and week long come downs ....... with the slight hangovers.

I am bored of Newcastle tbh, no event seems to excite me like they used to. I remember counting the days to Junior:G.
