    do vestax/allen and heath...

    do a 4 channel mixer?

i currently have a pcv275 which i reguard as the best mixer i've ever used...

but in the future i will want another cd deck so it wouldn't have enough channels and i want to upgrade, but avoid the djm series if i can cos i just don't like their feel!

    help please!

3 or 6 channel for Allen and Heath. I have an Xone32 (I too hate the feel of pioneer) and it is smooth and built really nice.

damn it!!i thought they only did the 3 and 6 channels but i hoped i was wrong!

i really wanted an allen and heath one, but 3 channels isn't enough and 6 channels make it a bit too expensive, although i might end up having to splash out that bit extra!

do you know if the allen and heath ones are compatible with the pioneer effects pad too?

i really want to avoid the djm's cos them big plastic knobs just don't look or feel very nice at all imo!plus i don't like the crossfader very much either!

    comfortably numb !
cross fader is a bit choppy (if you know what I mean) the efx unit works of any mixer output.

yeah but can you use the efx on each channel individually on the allen and heath model??

over the next year i want top get my own efx pad, a cdj1000 and a new mixer, so the xzone62 might be too expensive for me!

suppose i could always make do with 1 3 channel pcv275 and swap between one deck and a cdj on one channel, as using 4 at once might be a bit too much anyway!

Both the Allen and Heath and the Raine mixers are the bollox like. I would love to just have a few mixes on one to try 'the hype'.
Shame you have to take out a morgage to get one;)
I don't see the point in spending all that money for a bedroom mixer tho:)

No I wouldn't spend £3k on the allen and heath for home use (unless I had some serious money kicking about) but the reviews for them have been awesome...

those are unbelievable of course, but i would have to think long and hard about spending £1000 on a mixer, so anything over that is out of the question!

plus none of them look as sexy as the pmc55!
