Do the seasons have an influence on tunes?

    Do the seasons have an influence on tunes?

    Coz i reckon tunes released in the summer are much more uplifting than those released in the winter...

    e.g. Rank 1 Airwave Summer 2000
    Jurgen Vries - The Theme Summer 2002

    or is it just the sun makin me feel happier?

    the summer season brings along positivas 'any lame tune with soppy words on top' releases....:D

    Big house tracks are often released in March & April so they become "BIG IN IBEEEFA" etc.

    A record that does well in summer will get far more sales than one released in winter months.

    In a way they do, yes.

    I seem to change my style with seasons anyway. Not purposely or anything, just find myself playing much more proggy around the autumn/winter.

    March is around the time I start getting funkier and start to play damn sexy house music. March is, of course, time for the WMC :D

    I'm gona go there sometime I swear. Year after next hopefully!

    Bet someone on here's been. Anyone?

    i wdunbt mind goin 2 the WMC... hopefullee when i get my job over there after uni ;) :p
