    dj of the year.......

know we've already had a thread pretty similar to this but was just wunderin who everyone reckons was the dj of the year 2002, which dj outshone the rest of em if ya know what i mean and not just from a promise point of view but in a nation or worldwide sense....??!!! and also which dj's achieved lots this year in terms of productions, albums etc...sorry if this thread doesnt make much sense it is a bit like the other one but am kinda meaning which dj's hav had a dead good year and should recieve "the dj of the year award" in your eyes..... but not just from a promise perspective if that makes any sense....??!!!! sorry if no-one has a clue what im goin on about by the way!!!

(would like to add my little imput on all this and as much as ppl will be finkin "god here she goes again" i think jules has done sooo well this year he seems to hav gained back a lot of support and gained one hell of a lot more respect even from those ppl that used ot slate him n his sets r gettin betta n betta!! im not saying he is the best dj of 2002 but i just think ppl mebbes view him in a different light afta his recent performances n he's not automatically recognised by some nasty ppl as bin cheesy anymore...!! :) )

    xxxxxx

agreed. this has been a good year for matt. he had his essential mix, released his crasher cd, and wasn't he also involved in some production???

it has also been a good year for eddie....nobody knew who he was 12 months ago now he's a resident at just about every major club in the country  .

    Andy Farley.

Without a doubt, some of the best sets I've heard. Never played a bad set in all the time I've seem him play. The man's a legend. Hard as fook!

Plus our very own K.J... She's tops too! :D

I agree it's been a great year for Yousef this year. Same with MYNC Project and Tim Deluxe.
Both MYNC and Mr Deluxe have gone from relatively unknown to massive this year.

As an actual best NEW DJ though, one that's just broken the scene this year, Sonny Wharton.
This Summer's Ibiza/Manumission resident, he featured on Annie Nightingale's Radio 1 show a few months back, and now holds a monthly residency @ Red Sessions in Barcelona. There's apparently something about him in this month's Mixmag. Fantastic DJ, the next big thing in House world.
