DJ Deck Stands.co.uk Bunch of useless cunts! I ordered a deck stand over a month ago, 23rd january to be exact and i still hav n't recieved the fucker. I have been emailing and phoning them every week that goes by, and still no sign of the stand. Everytime i get in contact with them they say 'you should have it, by the end of the week' nearly 5 weeks on still nout! To make it even worse they have took friggen spring brake! I cannot phone customer services to ask where my stand is until 5th March! Anyone else had trouble with these? Any action i can take? Watchdog?
i had the same problem with that company! (there based in brum somewhere arent they?) bought a stand for my cdjs and it didnt arrive within a month so i rang them n they said I should have had it and then it had gone missing in transit. Then, funnily enough so did the second one they sent me. I must have rang them about 10 times chasing it up! eventually got one but about 2 months later!
under the distance selling act (2000), if they haven't provided you with the goods you ordered after 30 days you're entitled to a full refund. Threaten to take them to court, worked with a scottish audio firm I dealt with last year. Ordered an autochanger and it never turned up. Wrote a rather nasty sounding letter with all the legal bits in threatening legal action unless they provided me with a refund. Got my card refunded a day after they recieved it. Score.
Nice 1 mate cheers i am gonna send them a similar sort of email today. Had enough with waiting, want me cash back they are taking the piss. I'd rather get me pants pulled down and buy a £300 stand from htfr.
A had the same problem mate, i bought some speaker stands they never arrived till a month later after some abusive phone calls! :evil:
