dj promo in newcastle on a thursday night.

will be fuckin unreal that like.

One of the reason Distorted are getting big names is because it is on a Thursday which will hopefully be it's selling point, just need to get more people down for it

am sure there will be quite a few people down for this like.

i telt hinzy id gan up with him to take some photos but i dont finish till 8 so i dont think its gona happen.

Also Adam, Promo is on at 11 (or so I hope as his flight lands at 9 and I'll be caning it up the A1 to get him here pronto) so just head up after work.

Looking forward to this now like. Did anyone hear the advice Terror had about the Vinyl jumping, 2 concrete slabs wouldn't be a bad idea like. Especially if promo's playing, he ain't gonna be pleased if his vinyl keep jumping when hes trying to mix like

Haven't heard anything from Ste (the guy running it) but I'll sort out some bricks/slabs for the night just incase.

The decks jump in there loads especially if there is a few in.

You need foam the kind you get in seats cushions and then concrete slabs on top of them good luck as the dj box wasn totally not built for vinyl in that bar.

Some blutack and pennies on the carts too

didnt skip with terror in really, but it will when lots of people are jumping like

yeah it is a pain, set up there for one of our nights and ended up just unplugging everything and setting it up on the stage after discovering that the needles jump all over the place. going to see about getting something done about it, is a nice dj booth (if you use cds)
