Diggers... he is amazing! Seen him a couple of times, once in 1997, and once last year, both times he blew me away! Not the hugest fan of prog, but i was impressed! On Brighton Beach with Jambon, Laura, Stu, Nat as the sun was going down, 200 000 people, and Diggers hyping the crowd up for Norman Cook, one of best days/weekends ever! oh and i got to Brighton from London (a 120 miles round trip) for £4 rtn

try not to hold it against him......just throw a bottle of hair dye in his direction!!

i went to see diggers in october and at union @ rehab in leeds and he was pretty average i thought.

however, i put that down to my dis-like of rehab as a club. in a word, it's shit.

has anyone been?

the dj booth isn't even raised or owt like that, the dj just stands in the corner of the room and all that seperates him and the crowd is a plastic sheet. the place has no atomosphere and the sound system is shit.

on the other hand, the mint club where union and basics used to be held is 100 times better! visited it recently for the first time and i began to understand why basics was supposed to be so much better there.

how much are they charging for digweed by the way?

i've seen digweed quite a few times back in 99 and 2000 and i was just thinking actually that i wudnt mind goin to see him on the 8th so i think me mite be in attendance 4 this one if i can persuade ppl to go along!! xxx

I thought Rehab was pretty gud. Very poncey but quite liked it. Been a couple of times. Once was for the Tidy event and that was the wrong venue. Definitely a house/prog venue. Much preferred Union when it was at The Space - dirty, underground club with low ceilings. Lovely!

Think i am going to do the 4hr one @the theater its going to be class. Saw him there last year and loved it so so so so much.

Im going with a whole bunch of prog loving friends !
