    Digweed to play Shindig

I've heard from a couple of fairly reliable sources that John Digweed is to play Shindig in February. It'll be the first time he's played there since the Love Parade night and has been long overdue to come back.

How good of a night will this be!!!!!!

everybody who has seen him always tell me that he is the best dj they have ever seen, but i don't really like prog. i went to see Sasha at cream a couple of years ago and he was fooking amazing but does Digweed play the same sort of stuff. hate shindig like, the people are nowhere near as friendly as promise.

    Digweed's Housier, much housier.

If you go on the Radio 1 website, their Essential Mix, Live @ Delta Heavy from 2002 WMC is up there for a listen again, after it was voted Essential Mix of the year. Listen to that, it'll give you more of an idea. Digweed, at least then, played very housey, deep dark chunky drums and tribal rhythms. Sasha's usually the one to play the trancey stuff.

He is fantastic, might not be everybodies cup o'tea but he's the kind of jock to get a crowd going (like Sasha) and you are bound to have a class night!! Defo be attendin this one :)

Whilst on the subject, if they got Diggers can't they get Sasha? Now that would be a tremendous night!!!!!!!! Why not go all out and get them both back to back???? ;)

    I couldn't see this happening.
    1. It'd probably blow some kind of annual budget that Shindig may have!
    2. Sasha's too trancey for Shindig.

ITS TRUE!!! Its up on Shindig's website now.

    John Digweed @ Shindig - Feburary 8th!!!

    TOP QUALITY!!!!

Steve Lawler's back first Saturday in March too. And Danny Howells next week, I don't think my bank balance can cope.

And if you can't appreciate it, I'd rather you stayed at home anyway.

that has nothing to do with it. alot of my friends don't even have drugs. i just find that the crowd in promise is alot more friendlier than shindig. i used to go to shindig all the time before i went to promise and never meet any where near as many people as in promise. maybe it's the age factor, as i'm only twenty. it just seemed like everone in shindig were up there own arses a bit. sorry if i upset you about this but it's just what little me thinks.

hope everone has a wicked time when you go and see Mr Digweed. i know a lot of my friends will.
