just been talking about this with someone, at armin i could hardly makeout the basslines or vocals

it sounds very different depending on where your standing i think! the system upstairs is mint tho

i suppose you wud hav to stand in the centre to get the best of the 4 stacks? sweetspot?

yes there was trance being played, and admittedly id rather it was 6 or so hours of deep repetitive prog.

actually i was just looking for a bite, i'm not genre specific

i bet its a hard room to setup sound-wise with all the space

depending on the time, and how hard its being driven, it'll sound progressively worse as the night goes on - unless its constantly tweaked, which unless done right, will make it worse

A think its a class sound system, then again, am always hammerd when am there.

the other thing is, the later in to the night, the worse your ears will be, you wont notice because they'll have been constantly adjusting to stop them falling off

Aren't they meant to get them speakers serviced pretty regularly to keep it crisp? It sounded awesome the last time they had it done.

never been impressed by digitals system like,probs cos when i have been the dj's were to say the least,not very good (appart for cox,but i was so high i could see for miles around)

i think it must have a lot to do with the way there set up with the space in the room.

stealth in notts are using the same system in a much smaller main room space and the clarity is unreal most times unless some useless cunt is trying to push the mixer past red.

I'm sure i'd read something somewhere that the creators of the funktion one were anti mp3 and had designed their system to show the flaws in the format.

Of course I could of dreamt that.

The funktion 1's at Creamfields were unreal. I have never heard sound quality like it. Therefore there is no way digital are gettin the best out of that system.

A can vouch for that, as he rang me off his video fone nd the sound was actualy amazing, that cuda just been the fones like lol but am sure the F1's helped.

It doesn't sound as good as some other Funktion 1s sometimes. But other times it's unreal, it's probably DJs using shit mp3s and your hearing getting trashed because it tends to get pushed a bit hard.
