What happened to Si Patterson? Was expecting Ferry to fuck off about 2ish but I guess he was there until the bitter (and yawning) end??
no no no not a ket person im up and awake just had a cold shower (and it was cold) getting picked up at 8.10 and off go-karting with work got in last neet pretty early on about 3.20 and watched all of instinct on itv its a quality film that i enjoyed the bit where they got shot ha ha ha ha
Si Patterson not turn up then? He's the only reason i would of went, ohh well pleased a stayed in then and got pissed n played on the Wii. EDIT > Read he did turn up in another thread n should of had longer - oh whey.
There was a good few people getting hauled out of that place last night!! ... I even managed to have some mullered young lass kick me in the knee with her high heeled shoes after i said i'd have her thrown out for pushing her mate into me - maybe it was sumthin in the smirnoff ice gettin everyone lairy Whoever was on before 12 was absolutely class, and ferry wasnt bad either! He played that old tune with that line "... and i will always be.... near to me, near TO ME" which was mint. Good to see MOS, Melt, Jimi and finally meet Forks, and discuss town planning, thatcherite policies and global politics with him
i did end up going, turned out to be an alright night, glad to see the equalizer lights working again i saw a good few people get hauled out too, guess digital seems to think evolve is the 'rough' night on their calendar, because ive never seen the doormen so over zealous on any other night..they must have been instructed to be more heavy handed than usual i'd have some good photos if the flash on my phone wasnt so good and made everyone look like ghosts .edit FOURTEEN QUID IN ?!?!
Patterson was amazing - ferry killed it for the first 30mins when he came on but was spot on towards the end! cider and me don't mix - sorry for anyone who once again may have tried to speak to me (Rob - sorry mate for being a smiling goon and hardly speaking!!!)
Digital sounds dog rough like. There's never talk of a night there without someone mentioning seeing a fight or someone being thrown out or something being stolen.
Underage drinkers, drug taking as well & criminal bar prices. It is reeeeeeeeeeeet up their with Sun Hill Police Station as the nations number one crime blackspot.
Had a pretty decent night apart from "losing" my phone (I'm convinced it was nicked.) Didn't see much of Simon Patterson cos I got in there quite late. Thought Ferry was spot on, really enjoyed his set - I still love "Beautiful". Loads of other class tunes too but as usual I can't remember the names!! Absolutely hate that club though, will only go if it's someone I really want to see playing. Every time I go I try to keep an open mind, but it always disappoints: the atmosphere isn't amazing, there's always loads of beer boys/ people spoiling for a fight/ drunk and trashed lads trying to pull. Don't like the layout either - can never seem to get a good view of the DJ box without getting a crick in my neck. ........ didn't mean to moan so much in this post. I did have a good time, honestly!
I dont see what the big problem with Digital is? Its a club in Newcastle, a city which is known for its charvers so what do people expect? Its no different to what foundation was in terms of the crowd it attracts. The whole trance and hard house scene is pikey anyway so expects half wits to attend.
I was just gonna say that myself. A lot of the people who go to digital are the old foundation lot, Promise used to be full of wankers.
i wasnt impressed like ended up just stayin upstairs coz it was too full down stairs and boring as fook. bring back junior g
I don't think the layout helps, with Digital. I dunno what it is about the place, I have just never liked it
The thing with Fundation was people left & rang dial-a-drink it seems after a night at Digital you got ring the cops for a crime reference number.
