    Digital TV Crap Reception

Ive recently bought a new digital TV for the bedroom. When i plug it into the aerial socket in the bedroom, it only recieves 6 (crap) channels. When i try plugging it into the aerial socket in the living room i get 60 or 70 channels, so theres nowt wrong with the TV.

What could be the reason for this?

My thoughts are that the aerial connection must be faulty in some way, as surely both sockets are connected to the same aerial and should therefore get the same quality of reception. My other thought was that maybe the one in the bedroom is connected to an analogue aerial, but this seems strange as the flat was only built 6 or 9 months ago.

Anyone any ideas? Or is there anything i can buy (wireless) to get the signal into the bedroom properly?

not necessarily unless u follow the cable. it might be a new ariel on the roof but they've only run 1 main feed down to the living room (cheapskates) - the 1 inside the bedroom could be 1) the an extention from the old ariel 2) an indoor ariel in the loft

it'll be easy to follow the bedroom ariel socket, have a look from outside. you could get an attenuator for the signal - argos do 1 for about 8 quid which can be adjusted up OR down (both can be bad!)
