u might need an extra £30 - £40 to get yerself a decent memory card too, if a decent one doesn't come with it, 128Mb is a decent size - don't forget to budget for that too.

i got a Sony cybershot DSC-P1 off ebay for £150. only 2 years old, hardly used, boxed with case - was orignally £600! All the manual settings for exposure, flash level, etc.

Olympus do decent cameras at good prices too. not up to speed really with cameras so not sure of on model numbers or owt.

Fuji or Sont ones are pretty good. you may have to spend a bit more if you want manual exposure features, and a decent zoom lens.

Go into Jessops near the monument and have a play with some. Find one you like, then buy it online :p  thats what i did. I told then i was gonna think about it, then just left. :)

i've got the casio exilim 3.2 Z3 megapixel camera with 3x optical and 10x digital zoom, all types of exposure and "film speed feature" control. It also has a video recording facility that also records audio, which is something most digicams lack. Pentax have a model thats identical but the screen on my camera is a massive 2.4 inches across but benefits from having pentax lens, i also have a 256mb card with it. The camera also weighs less than 130 grams and fits in my pocket no probs. Also comes with a docking station.

400 euros in andorra, similar prices on some uk websites.

I've got a Pentax Optio S-4, 4m pixels, 3x optical zoom, 4x digital zoom. all sorts of manual settings. The best thing is the size - it will fit inside a cigarette packet! I've got one and am very happy with it.

    I've got this one :

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos...1309/sr=1-2/ref=sr_1_11_2/026-9469383-8547604

Theres newer models available but i love it. Small enough to carry around but produces good quality pics. Battery lasts for about 3 hours (when camera is on constantly) and it takes abt 2 hours to recharge. I'm still using the original battery I got with it over a year ago. Zoom could be a bit better tho. Other than that, its fine.
