    Dial Up - Using Laptop & Mobile

    Im dialing up an 0845 number and connectiong to my mobile with bluetooth. the fastest it connects is 9.6

    is that the fastest or can i change it?

    only orange support HSDC at the minute (i think?) so ur limited to 9600bps with any other priovider.

    What U can do tho is use GPRS.....jus get it enabled on ur account and off u go!

    watch the costs tho :eek: :eek: :eek:

    I use GPRS with my fone and laptop @ work, runs bout 170kish depending on network traffic and coverage. I don't pay for it but do watch it as it measures data transfer and bills you big time ££££
