DETOX present the last ever dance event at the Newcastle University basement.
Following the university’s decision to refurbish and revamp the current building’s basement layout, the present 4 room set up as it has come to be known and loved will be no more after this October’s Halloween.

So following on from the success of the DETOX 9th birthday celebrations and the maritime frivolity of the recent autumnal secret location event, DETOX return with a little help from local favourites Absolution & Hostile and hardcore heavyweights Backlash Undead (returning from hell for one night only) to present
“The Masquerade Halloween Ball” on Friday 29th October 2010.

Spread across 4 rooms of macabre mayhem, this event will showcase everything from tech, psytrance, old skool and drum and base through to hardcore, industrial, hard dance, hard style and schranz.

35! acts covering four (4) rooms in seven (7) hours. This is the ultimate masquerade zombie rave.

In addition to the main Friday night event, those purchasing an advance ticket for the main Masquerade Halloween Ball will gain additional free entry to a secret location event the following night on Sat 30th October. TWO EVENTS for the price of one!!!

well that all seemed very wholesome

was it banned because

A - its missed off room 4 lineup
B - used footage of non detox event
C - didnt use the real scary castle knowen as featherstone
D - a girl stabbin her fanny with a cross in seroius need of an exocism ?

did it miss off room 4 lineup - surely you mean room3 - thats just the bootleg one like earl

there isnt any scarey footage of featherstone and most of it was out of focus or in the dark

but whilst we are at it can we start an inane conversation where 5 people in 1 thread pick each other up on their promo paraphrasing and grammatical errors like over in the circo loco thread to give us an artificially inflated bumpage count - if we could do that then I would be most grateful

i think the noisey music made me lose concentration for a moment hence missing part lineup- i must have been dreaming of trees

i see the 4th lneup now , its was delaid ...

all sets are on the mp3 still , the only reason they arnt availalbe is cos we lost the special cable which funny enough i found last night and will pass to chewy.
