Derrick Carter has unfortunately cancelled this weekend :

_ We are very sorry to say that Derrick will not be able to play this weekend
_ in the UK. _As you may know, the weather conditions in Northeast and Midwest
_ USA are horrible at the present moment. _Derrick had an accident yesterday:
_ He slipped on ice that was underneath a patch of snow and broke his
_ shoulder. Derrick says "I'm comfortably numb at the moment. Vicodin is
_ amazing. Sorry I can't now warm the Scottish crowd up this winter as
_ planned."

_ The rescheduled date will be Fri April 30th to be confirmed once the
_ painkillers wear off.
_
_ Derrick's partner in Classic Records, Luke Solomon and Silicone Soul will
_ take his place with Yousef in the front arch house room at Friday's Pressure
_ while Slam and Carl Craig preach the eclectic techno sermon in the back
_ arch.
_
_ Ticket holders also receive a complimentary drink at the bar in further
_ recompense

was just talking to jeff and he's gonna be gutted, cos he said he was going to the dig for his birthday night out to see carter and he seemes pertty excited about seeing him

There's been quite a few recently

prefer the residents to the sort of music it's been the last couple of weeks though. Know what you mean though they did one in dec and one just a couple of weeks ago

Reckon they might try and bring in a replacement last minute. I'm sure there's quite a few DJs without gigs at this time of the year
