If only you knew... Pike's the 'Longshanks' of Sunderland. And that is the only piece of truth you'll ever hear my say on this forum.

Seriously tho, it's really weird you brought this up, I've spent most of this afternoon trying to register with a private dentist as I have been in agony with my wisdom teeth for about 2 days now.

Private is expensive. I found it cheaper to use the NHS website & found dentist in Newcastle City Centre taking on FEE paying NHS patients.

    There price list is http://www.nhsdentist.com/NHS_Price.html

You only pay for work in the most expensive band. I think you get upto 8 fillings for £44.60.

I needed a crown 2 years ago & paid £192 + £16 for the emergency treatment but about 8 years ago the original fitting cost me £320 private.

That is the NHS dentist @ Arthurs Hill. The one I use in Saville Row is off the beaten path.

no its not! get yourself registered with an nhs dentist!
I go every 6 month and it costs me no more than £45, thats a checkup and deep clean.

When I get my braces on it is going to cost a total of £400, private I would be looking at £1200

Last time i went i was 18 years old.

I cant see myself ever going unless i have a problem that needs sorting out.

Its impossible to get anything NHS down here since everyone else is so minted, its just private stuff only.

    Scam artists.
