im happy with my decks and im just looking for some good basic cd decks, £600 for a pair doesnt seem bad, espesh for a brand like denon....but are they good? does anyone know anywhere that still sells new CDJ800 MK I ?? or would i be ok going with the DNS1000?

for the price they will be better than almost anything in that range, we all know CDJ1000s are gonna be a better choice but they are twice the price and not twice as good.

They're better than people make out. I've got a DNS5000 (and apart from the graphic display on the CDJ1000) it beats the pioneer hands-down on features.

If you can, try and get to play with a demo unit and have a go. The DNS1000 impressed me when I tried one but it may not be to everyone's tastes.

i would prefer cdj 800 or 1000's but for what i need one for....£600 for two sounds better than £750+ for one cdj1000 that im just going to use in the hoose.

Just save up and buy the industry standard mate, you can't go wrong, and if you come to play out you know you can use the equipment. :)

i have a Denon DNS-3000 and its never been used really. im tempted to sell it cos im in lots of debt right now :(

i bought it cos i wanted to change to CDs, so i did... then i sold my TTs and thought i would use the money to buy a second one...

then i sold my turntables and spent the cash :(

so ive had this one cd deck sitting alone having no more than a couple of nights usage!

PM me if u want to consider buying it, its boxed, mint as new condition.

cant believe im considering this :(
