was just on skysports n saw dell ad, always thought they were good, but wondered are they that good, if they are so cheap, £471 for a good package what would usually cost a grand upwards if it were poxy packard bell.
nah dont be fooled mate - u cud goto pc world and walk out with a cracking pc for about £500 dells are a bit cheaper tho - tiny are ok as well.
just dont decide it's a good idea to build your own if you arent a good problem spotter/solver as if something goes wrong you dont just have that one company number to phone.. you have to get on the phone to seperate vendors then to manufacturers and send emails then throw your monitor out the window in frustration then get on the phone again to see about getting a replaced monitor and so on.. I wish i'd bought a dell
Ive had a dell for 4 years, its solid as a rock, no intentions of replacing it any time soon! Definatley reccommend Dell.
I've just got a new Dell computer. Got it through work. Totally mint offer like. Still chuffed to bits with it.
My Fijitsu Siemens is a little beauty IMO. http://www.fujitsu-siemens.co.uk/products/deskbound/personal_computers/scaleo_t.html
Dell are canny good, they use their own components - they're cheaper cause they're online - don't have expensive retail chains to support. Tiny are crap, cheap equipment - no end of problems. ICL/Fujitsu are also good, a bit like HP Compaq - hard as nails and bomb proof - large companies with plenty of resources to back them up
All the old work dell pc's were top spec at the time but when going to upgrade them found they had used bits so that if u wanted to upgrade ud end up replaceing the lot !! their new laptops are mint tho , me m8 has one of the widescreen ones and all the parts in it are top spec like !!!
