Been told not to use windows built in defrag tool...Anyone got a link for a good one???

What are their reasons for not using it?

Nowt wrong with it as far as i know! There are probably better tools, but it does the job!

windows defrag is fine.

just make sure u kill off most of the processes otherwise it'll keep restarting

yep do it in safe mode for it to work faster

Hmm I disagree a little. The windows defrag is very slow and not as effective as other solutions out there.

The best prog I've used is called O & O Defrag, it's a lot faster and alot more effective than the windows one..
