    Deepdownanddirty - October Tech-House mix

Our latest mix for download from Climax Recordings Feedback Welcome :cool2:

Deepdownanddirty have finally burst onto the House scene with the demented bleeps, typewriter percussion and funky bass line of ’Magnatar’. The two DJ’s, Pete Robinson and Nick Adams from Newcastle Upon Tyne have been producing tracks together for two years with Pete road testing them at his Promise residency at Foundation, Newcastle. Their first major signing ’Magnatar’ is forthcoming on Climax Recordings with a remix from Space (Ibiza) resident Stu Hirst of Harlem Records (Steve Lawler’s Label) on the B-Side. They’ve also just announced that their ’Acid Jammin’ track from earlier this year has also been signed to Fragile Recordings and will be available for digital download.

‘Magnatar is the best track on Climax yet’ Stu Hirst (Harlem/Subversive)

This is the second Live mix in the Deepdownanddirty series, it starts off Deep and Minimal, gradually oozing through contemporary light and dark shades. It then twists into some rumbling electro and tech-house before peaking with the uplifting Luke Chable remix of PQM ‘You are Sleeping’.

Not yet, we're still waiting for Stu Hirst to complete the remix for us, then I'm sure James will have some samples on the Climax website. Let us know what you think mate :)

Strange... it works straight away for me when I click on Deepdownanddirty - October 2005 Mix purple title. It creates a temporary folder, then you save it. If you can't get it to work I'll post you a copy if you PM me your address :)

I'm not too sure, I just gave James the mix on an Audio CD-R and he's put it up for us. I'll give him a bell and see what the problem is.....

I've just managed to download the whole thing. If you double click on the purple title it takes about ten minutes to download, so you can play it in Realplayer. If you then click on File, you can add it to your Library:cool2:

Not sure what happened - I ripped the mix from cd and somehow it ended up as mp4.

I will convert it to mp3 and get it uploaded again tomorrow.

    Apologies!

Really glad you like it Ash mate, I know you are a Techno Fiend at heart but our mix definately has got a techy feel to it. I got that 'Minimal Bebop' track from Air Records a good few month ago, so not too sure where you'll get a copy from now :cool2:
