Deep Dish played one of the best sets I've ever heard at Shindig. Just quality house music all night. Even threw in a bit of techno for good measure. The prog they play isn't boring, its always doing something. Technically brilliant as well - mixing was perfect on and good use of EQ and effects. Totally hot again though which spoils it a bit cos you have to keep stopping dancing. They got an unbelievable response from the crowd at the end

Too right. They played a Coldplay tune quite early and everyone went mental. Finished with Gabriel and Dresden mix of clocks. Their style just sums shindig up for me

Yeah it was. Walked in and they were playing Frankie Knucles - Tears. They were upping the tempo at exactly the right times dropping in the odd moment like Kosheen's All in My head. Played Hardfloor - Acperience - an acid techno moment. Interesting to see that they always just took it in turns to DJ rather than at the same time on more decks. Worked better I thought. They're not the sort of DJs who cut up loads of records.
Not happy with this work at 8 o'clock the next morning

Yeah they're on at Space when I'm there at the end of august. Do you reckon they'll do a terrace set as well. They might even play DC10 after if we're lucky

Have you got their new Global Undeground CD. The opening track on CD1 with Julie Mcknight was one of the biggest tunes last nite

It is a class CD but not as good as the first Yoshiesque - that's one of the best compilations I've ever heard
