    Works out at about £72,000 a day, poor bloke. Hows he gonna manage when you think he has electricity, gas, tv licence, petrol money and clothes and that for the bairns to buy? It must be hard living just above the poverty line :eek:

    I think hes done well the only reason hes getting paid that much is hes getting more of the sponsorship and image rights which have previously gone to the clubs ... just look at how much hes made for man u and real ... Basically he left man u they were the richest club in the world (barring chelskis private pennies) he goes to real might not of won fuck all but they became the richest club in the world ... Becks has always been more than just a footballer but show the guy some respect hes always put the football first ... hes got 94 england caps has won champions leagues premierships fa cups hes got nothing left to prove imo .. Why should he come over to england to help some mediocre team like bolton or protsmouth push for the champions league when he can raise the profile of the game in a place where its never really taken off ... Becks will change the way america look at footbal and posibly inspire some great players to come from the usa ..

    I say good look to him I hope he succeeds !
