    data1.msi

Getting all the updates from the microsoft site when I am trying to get an office update however it won't let me go any further cause it keeps asking for the data1.msi file from the microsoft word 2000 sr1 CD. When i put that CD in, it doesn't pick the file up....done a search on hard disk and I can't find it there either.....any ideas? :spangled: :dunce:

Thing is it wouldn't allow me to export mail out of outlook without it, so I can't back my email folders up, cause it's asking for the same file! :(

    No worries :)

Vitally important you remove all trace of Office in the registry tho. For future reference, never upgrade office, can cause probs like this.
