Cueing the mix on a DJM 600 Right, got a DJM 600, and having trouble cueing the mix on it, ie being able to get the levels right through the headphones to match the beat etc. Do i need to use the trims and eqs to adjust the levels coming throught the headphones, otherwise i cant get the tunes im going to bring in clear enough to match the beat... does that make sense?
try putting the cue knob all the way 2 cue (or u may have 2 move it a little into master sumtimes)then have headfones quite loud n all the channel lights on (ch-2, ch-3, master etc) thats wot i do n is ok 4 me! (also u might need a bit bass on the one ur cue'ing if it aint very bassy)
what i like bout this mixer if u take bass of u can hear in ur headfones (so u can hear if its 2 bassy etc) same with trebble n hi, unlike my old mixer maybe this is where ya going wrong.
you will just have to only have the record you are cuing only comming out of your headphones. its got a fader hasnt it? so u should be ok?
