save it as a text file in notebook, then obviously change titles and times for your set:)

Ade, not sure u can use cue files with nero, I ve always used cdrwin, very simple. Search for cdrwin on this forum, and it ll give u the place to d/l it from.. Goldhawk Technology, then search for the crack to convert it to the full version.

    oooK!!!

Thanks to www.neo-modus.com, I've now got a shiny full version of CDRWIN 5.? :)

Now what do I do with cue files? Filenames look easy enough, times don't!

Doggie, use that link to try DirectConnect p2p file-share thingy. Lots more to DL, but you need to share lots, 5gb+ ish

ade, have u got the crack for cdrwin to make it the full version... once you have that you just go to record disc, then load cuesheet, which will be a .txt file, and let cdrwin do the rest.

Right the cue sheets, theres a pretty good help thing in cdrwin, that give you a few examples of different cue sheets, but im guessing most the time you ll be wanting to split one long mp3 (a set or album) into smaller tracks. Most the time all i do is set the track marks every five mins, so your times would start at 00:00:00 (minutes:seconds:milliseconds) and then just stick in the next five min interval for each track, (05:00:00, 10:00:00 etc.) but with a lot of mp3s, people (with too much time) go through the mp3s and find out exactly where a new tune starts, and then note down the time, so each time u go to the next track it ll be the start of the next tune. best thing to do is use yahoo and search for something like "dance cuefiles" or something along those lines. So your 2 options are 1)make you own cue file (which can be a bastard, cos they have to be perfect, commas and dots in the right places) but u ll work it out and normally u wont bother finding out where the precise trackmarks should be, just do it to 5 mins, and dont bother putting track names in or anything, and 2) download em off the internet (trance addict forum has loads of cue files for livesets) and just load them onto cdrwin.

Hope that helps, give me a yell if you need anymore help:)

Oh btw you can specify if you want gaps between tracks by sticking them in the cue sheet, but i wouldnt bother!

mostly what I do is rip each track off a CD to store on HD, then burn em from the mp3 when I want the CD, looks easy enough to make a cue file, even with the right length of trax!

I've got a full cracked version of CDRWIN 5.0, but I can't see anything to do with cue files, am I breing thick or something?
