Cubase Lessons Does anyone know anyone/anywhere that offers this locally. Im hitting brick walls teaching myself. Im sure ive heard something on here and NECL about this in the past. Night classes or home tutoring would be best. I know it would probably be pricey but i am willing to pay top dollar Any help appreciated. Cheers
What is it your after? Mates just finished a music production thing at uni, so he might be able to help.
Re: Cubase Lessons The only place you'll get sound tuition & professional guidance is at college. I studied Music Technology at Newcastle college for 3 years & topped it off with a B.A degree at uni, best time of my life. Self teaching with with professional programs like Cubase & Reason is ok to get to grips with the basics but a college course will allow you to get the best out of these programs as they are so many things to learn, you'll also get studio time & the best part of that is working with the massive multi-track mixers & quality equipment. If you consider going to college dont go for the BTEC 1st diploma but go for the National diploma or higher national diploma. You'll never look back. Good luck
Re: Re: Cubase Lessons Lots of things really. Too many to list. I know how to put tracks together, but want to learn how to get the best out of the program. Im just hitting brick walls learning from the manual. Was after some kind of night class or one on one professional tuition. I realise its a long shot though.. Cheers for the reply mate. I havent really got time/couldnt afford to go back to college full time. Do you still get student loans at 24? I would absolutely love to but just think it would cripple me financially. I studied music at newcastle college from 18 - 20, but it was music performance not production. Back then i was playing guitar. learned loads about the theoretical side of music and composition but wish i had of done production. I wasnt to know then what i wish to do now.
sounds daft but check out youtube mate that can be a good help ..just take's time mate its like out more you use it more you will learn and pick up , good luck
