    'cropping' mp3's

    i want to remove part of an mp3 and save the remainder...

    what software do i need? :)

    tried audiograbber but it only seems to work on .wavs...

    cool edit pro, or sound forge will do the trick...

    as does WaveLab :D

    You usually get wave editors with cd burning software, like Nero for example.

    Sound Forge will let you directly open an MP3 file and edit it.

    HJsplit is good. I think Soundforge would be more tailored to ur needs tho Tom. Thats what I use, especially if u want to get the cut exactly right.
