Ive watched all the International one dayers and the twenty20 cup.

Im pleased that were doing well however im worried that we may have hit form too early.....i'd rather us hit form towards the natwest challenge against Australia and carry that on into the Ashes rather than be in form now and loose it later. If we can keep playing good cricket then we have a brilliant chances of winning them back however i somehow dont think we'll keep wining for some reason, i think we'll narrowlly loose them 2-1 with us on top in the 2 drawn games but not managing to win them.

I dunno if i'd want Pieterson in the test side, I know he's a good batsman but he's too attacking and didnt have a good start to the season in first class cricket.

I wouldnt leave Bell out as he's a cracking batsman and as for Thorpe he's got so much experience and is always there when you need him to dig us out of holes.

We have Flintoff as a very good attacking batsman lower down the order and Flintoffs a brilliant bowler aswell i really dont think we need 2.

I'd have Chris Read as wicketkeeper instead of Jones aswell, Jones hasnt really done anything at all recently.

Until last week, i couldnt believe anyone was suggesting dropping Thorpe.

Peitersen has made such a case for himself now though.

The only other way to get him in is to drop Bell. But you cant do that either.

By the end of the summer, Thorpe will retire and the problem is solved. But for now id have to say Pietersen just misses out on a place. Im sure he will get a chance though. I cant see all six batsmen being all fit for every test. As soon as someone is injured, Pietersen will be straight in there. If he takes his chance well, he will be staying.

No way jopnes is getting better and better and his avarage with the Bat is very important too

Thorpe is going to retire this winter anyway so i say get the young lad in now, and flintoff is nott in good form with the bat so we players to score runs

I think Peiterson SHOULD be in the Test Squad  his run-rate is superb! Plus i think the Aussie bowlers are scared and intimadated by him, which is a good thing as its them who usually have the mental edge over us.

I think during the Ashes, Flintoff and Harmison will be the ones to watch!

Forget Pieterson if anyone should be in the test side it Colly!

His batting has been brilliant all throught the summer so far and much better than Pitersons, he's bowled exceptionally well and hes one of if not the best fielder in the world, i wouldnt leave him out!

Ian Bell would be in it but that would mean leaving Thorpe out dunno if its a good idea so maybe hav Thorpe in for thes first 2 tests see how well he does, and id have Jones in the side now as keeper as he's done alot better in the recent matches.....

    My Test side....

    A.Strauss
    M.Trescothick
    M.Vaughan
    I.Bell
    P.Collingwood.
    A.Flintoff
    G.Jones
    A.Giles
    M.Hoggard
    S.Jones
    S.Harmisson

    Gotta be Thorpe for me.

Pieterson and Collingwood will have to sit out the first couple and wait for injuries or loss of form from someone.
