    Creating a DVD

I created my own video and converted it to DVD format and burnt it to a disc.

BUT it only plays in black & white on my dvd player. (Plays fine on computer)

I've had this problem when playing copied dvds sometimes...

Is it something to do with the way its been encoded??

How can I get it in colour?

how old is your tv? some stuff that is NTSC, you need a 60hz tv to play it in colour. If you tv is over 60hz which it may be cause most tv are nowdays. Then i'm not sure what it is.

Ah well I never knew that! One of the tvs I tried it on is pretty old but the other I wouldnt of said so..

I'll have to dig out the manual and check that out.

I did notice when burning the cd there was the option of NTSC or PAL. Should I change it?
