What did everyone think of the new layout of Crasher on saturday?

Personally I think it was shite and theyve really fucked up by putting tech-house in the entrance bit. Everytime I walked from the main room which was packed into the entrance bit it was more or less empty and the atmosphere was none existent. Looking up at the bridge to see loads of funky monkeys bopping away to house isnt what Crasher is about IMO Wasnt impressed by the sound system either, at times I could barely hear the quality tunes that Mr.Corsten and Armin were playing.

Still had a top night though mainly due to the people I was with and because of the tunes, but could have been a lot better if Crasher had put a bit more thought and effort into the night and installed some air conditioning!

I again had a good night, but more to do with the people i was with... techno all night is too repetitive, and I think the vast majority of the crowd were expecting some trance at least at the end.. any club thats nearly empty at 4:30 when the night is sposed to finish at 6 is not good... but they must have realised it coz they shut an hour early

cant say i liked there being 3 rooms much, just meant even more people tried to squeeze into the main room, so it got far to hot.
and there wasnt even any partitions between the rooms, so in certain areas you could here music from all the rooms.
and it sounded shite

Been to Crasher a few times when there's 3 rooms on, but it always fails to work.
The problem is that everyone wants to be in the main room, the back dancefloor usually serves as an overflow for people who get fed up with being crammed, but if its made into a seperate area, then everyone stays on the main floor, making it totally crammed and unbearable all night! Grrrr!
They should keep it as it was - 2 rooms, & the back dancefloor for those peeps who want a bit more space !!

Sound system is wank now.

Back in the day "sighs" they had 2 huge speakers that reached the roof on both sides of the dj booth but they had trouble from the council about noise and had to scrap em.

Talking to ppl in the main room was unheard of because of the noise.

You had to use a bizarre sign langage to get a message across. Im sure thats where the silly dancing evolved from!

Crasher's completely wank these days... even when I was down when Oakey was on and they only had 2 rooms the sound was overlapping, shite!
And too quiet, what a load of poo!

seems like everyone who goes to Crasher events these days has a good time despite GC not because of them.

i agree that the sound system is shite in certain parts of the club...but if u stand on the dancefloor its still crystal clear and sounds pretty good to me...

...as for the three rooms...i dont think it worked either...when will they learn that no one goes to crasher for tech house or prog or woteva...sayin that it was a nice change to go and chill abit in there to sumit different...but didnt wanna stay there all nite like!

i still had a fookin wikid nite on sat though...the atmosphere was amazin and it felt like crasher...rather than the weird little club it had become in the past few months!

messy it isnt dead...trust me i would be sobbin wif ur if i thought it was ded...but saturday was anything but dead...it was crasher, how it should be...mite have been a bit too packed but i would rather see it burstin than half empty...goin monthly has brought it back to life and i think its now gunna be a 'must do' nite like SSNorf

it pisses me off on here that people say its shite...especially when they havent been or have only been once...how can u judge a club when u have only been once?

crasha is a fuckin amazing club in my opinion, i love everything about it, on sat the atmosphere wos top! the club wos full, the tunes were fantastic, and every1 wos havin fun... who gives a shit about anything else.. u go 2 dance, be with ur mates etc.. not write a bloody article bout it! blah blah blah blah etc etc

i didnt think it was that bad. much better than most other clubs + nights.
room on the top dance floor was a bit of a waste of time.

i had a good night tho, despite being nackered.

...not gunna get into another arguement about crasher bein good or shit cos after all this is the promise board and not the crasher one but all i know that everyone i went wif on sat enjoyed themselves loads so in my opinion that made it a good nite

dont know like deffo armin played the best set of the nite was expecting that anyway cause him and tiesto are gods in their own right!!!

but i fought pui was class he played that ira song and urban train and rapid eyes new tune fair enough peeps said his mixing wasnt super but he entertained me more than he did at promise!!

on the whole i thought the whole nite was superb!!! the peepz i was there wif made it complete me finx!!! sorry for disappering most of nite but had to just come up up stairs and have room to dance!!! and watch 00 flemings face when he was on he is classs!!

Ive only been to Crasher 10 times myself and in that time from last May i can safely say for me its died a death - when i 1st went there was loads of Cybers in fact the majority of the club was Cyber and its looked better - i think now more n more are just goin Casual as they seem to have grown out the Cyber stage - anyways the sound system in thers always been not loud enough - in fact its hit n miss to be honest coz theres times when it is loud n then times when its not - this weekend the 3 rooms was id say the nail in the coffin - if its not there gonna need summit amazing to kick it back into life - Crasher will always be that "Super Club" in the Uk but chaging what was a success aint gonna get ya anywhere really is it - u cant even sit on the stairs leadin down the main room now for fear of double beats and as for the heat its good to see them fans were a roaring success - i think once i entered the club id lost weight the heat not only pisses ya off and is unhealthy but it makes the place wet and unsafe and many a time both on Sat and in the past ive seen peeps go head over tits ending in pain - no good really - the DJ's at the weekend from what i can remember were alreet with Corsten n Armin the pick of the lot - Piu looked like Super Mario off the Nintendo game altho his Tune selection was ok @ times - didnt see much of Fudge Jules but we all know what to expect really and as for Hardwick ............... well again they shit on him - nothing new there is tha !!!! Least @ Promise they respect there residents unlike Crasher who seem to make a mockery of theres all time !

Crasher was wicked even though i left early due to the lad who was driving wanted to go. But i think the night was made by one special person and i would just like to thank her for a superb night and that she is a total dream come true.

And fuck of i am not soft or sloppy before anyone starts.
