y do we hav to listen to boring as hell, prog warm ups wen we first get into sum clubs?? it does ma tits in! wots the point??? no one attempts to dance to it (apart frm d beer boys), so y is it dun??

if the music started early, am sure that mor peeps wud go early!

places like promise only stay open till like 3 - which after bein bored to tears for d 1st 2hrs, is no where nr enuff time.

y not start wiv a retro/classics start every so often, or jus lay straight into it, like SS?? ok i know, ss is hard.....but tis rammed from start to finish! as soon as u walk into d place there is a wkd atmosphere

dj comp b4 hand is quality idea, it it gonna b a regular fing??

Just out of interest, do you think foreplay is also a waste of time? :D

I think the night needs to build, I have never worked in a good club that just banged out tunes from the off doing that makes it shit.

I don't know how you can call Richard's early sets boring, just try listening to them with a more open minded attitude next time.

    BTW, Rob loves Prog :D

Proggy is not there to BOSH BOSH to! Proggy is there for when you first walk into a club meet up with your mates and soak up the atmosphere..........No one walks into a club and jumps straight onto the dance floor. When you go to Sunny D are you there from the off? £10000 says the people already in there didnt start dancing straight away. I know I dont!

Maybe for you and a lot of other people (sometimes me included) but what about all the people who come in after the pubs have shut??? Proggy normally ends around 12sh??? Thats about half an hour of prog for all the beer boys!!! which is an acceptable time i think!

The walm-ups are never totally prog, they build from really deep beaty stuff up to trance. It's usually quite bangin by 11pm if you think about it.

Richard warms it up really well and if half the people there actually listened to his sets they would relise that he doesnt play that much prog.... he plays alot of other stuff such as tech house aswell, which i think is wickid. His warm up for scott project was wickid and no-one could say that was boring at all...

theres a problem with some people who think if its not trance with big build ups its prog.... go and listen to Mr Burridge to see what prog is!
