Craig Gordon's views on diving http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...s-dive-worth-care-Scotland-player-did-it.html stupid red and white cunt. he should focus on living up to his massive transfer fee, and leave champions league "diving" affairs to players and clubs it actually does (and will ever) concern.
In the same way that championship club fans should leave premiership players alone, and concentrate on congratulating themselves on a few wins in the fizzy pop league, non?
Spent nothing, top of the League with a run of 6 games unbeaten & Houghten Manager of the month? Aye... proper joke like. Craig Gordon - Most exspensive keeper in the Premiership, managed to fend off relegation last season by the skin of the teams teeth & now openly backs diving. What Mackum role model.
A pot to piss in? Given = £8m Beye = £4m Bassong = £3 Duff = £4 Martins = £9 Total = £28m The moneys there to spend, weather or not he decides to use it would be a more fitting remark.
586 & Pike... Almost the same person. Bottom line is the Clubs been in termoil for 2 seasons, we've seen our best players sold, the squad is rediculously thin & no money has been spent. However were top of the Championship, unbeaten in 6 games, one of our players is in the top scorers table, through to the 3rd round of the Carling cup... not bad going in the scheme of things. Dont be so bitter... im enjoying these 'go faster stripes' at the minute x
Lets be realistic here (and spare me the Melt safety winks) if the Club faces the prospect of Ashley for another season then he'll have to sepnd money (that we have), he's held out at the moment for obvious reasons, but to say we dont have a pot to piss in is rather rediculous. Correction - Houghten IN FRAME for Manager of the month. Sue me. Cummon... You know thats never gunna happen so long as I've got active logins
theres no way I could part with another tenner & the prospect of another sticky in the banter section. Ashleys a Business man, granted no Dragons Den candidate but neverless he currently owns Newcaslte United, it's in his best interest to speculate to accumulate given our current position. He now has ample proof that were capable of climbing straight back up this season, if not, be god damn good contenders. He also has the money to bring in players that can do a job this season with the aim of going straight back up, which in turn brings many millions more than he'd ever have to put in to get there. Despite all the catastrophic decisions he's made over the past 2 years I think even he knows it's in everyones best interest (weather it be from a fans or business perspective) to spend if he's stuck with us/were stuck with him.
You incapable of reading the article headlines in size 15 font or just being rhetorical? "Craig Gordon believes Eduardo's two-match ban for diving against Celtic was 'worth it' " "'For a goalkeeper, it is infuriating when you don't touch someone and they have won a penalty, and himself and his club a place in the group stages of the Champions League. 'That is worth £16million and he has probably got close to £100,000 in bonuses, so you can see what it means to players and why someone would do that, to win a game by any means possible. He got a two-match ban. Is it worth it for getting to the group stages where they will possibly progress from that? It probably is worth it to guarantee your team is in that competition." Still shit & still backs diving.
Fuck me are you simple? So he backs it then!? What ever he was trying to illustrate or get across, the bottom line is that he said Edwardo's dive was 'worth it'? At no point in that article did I see him say the words 'it was wrong' or 'shouldn't have done it' or 'bad for the game' Last time I checked, if something is 'worth it' or 'worth doing' it normally means you back it / behind it / up for it ?
And my comment still stands you complete degenerate... Ashley is cash rich/has the money to spend, weather he does or not would have been a more fitting comment. The guy has an estimated fortune of £700m FFS! But yeh...hardly a pot to piss in eh! It's like talking to fuckers in the Grainger Market on here sometimes.
