    Crackly Faders

How do you stop a x-Fader from crackling? Its only 10 months old and crackles really badly, which for a vestax it shouldn't do (or should it).

You can buy fader spray from Dj stores, its only a few quid and it usually works.
If not you may have to replace the faders:)

i strip mine down and gently clean the tracks with a cotten bud and sum brasso metal polish

the tracks are looking a little worn now tho ;)

might try sum of the spray from aitken bros, got sum industrial spray from work and it lasted all of three days before the crackles were back

Might try that, seeing as everything else has made the crackles come back in a matter of hours. the cheapest fader I've found so far is £50 ! Don't think I'll pay that, to have it go wrong in another couple of months.
