Cosmic Ballroom - Door Policy (Please Note) Some of you may or not be aware but last weekend there was an issue with people getting into the venue wearing certain types of footwear. This was due to several claims being submitted against the club and subsequently being awarded for glass injuries to feet. This matter has now been resolved and please note for the future the only types of footwear NOT permitted at the venue will be: Flip Flops or Sandals Other types of open footwear commonly worn by females will be allowed. Apologies for the inconvience caused to anyone that attended either of the events over the weekend (04 & 05 July) and subsequently refused entry. It was a measure that was taken due to the circumstances surrounding the claims. Thanks and hopefully see you soon
Same thing happened in brisbane couple years ago. Clubs banned flip flops for males, not females. Some guy who got knocked back at one of the clubs said it was sexual discrimination, now flip flops are banned for everyone.
