    Cosmic Ballroom 1st July

When the smoking ban comes in place come 1st July does anyone know the crack with designated areas for smokers in clubs? just I cant see restaurants as neighbouring businesses of the Cosmic for instance taking to kindly to a few hundred clubbers spilling outside for a 'crafty fag' especially when - lets say there a bit 'worse for wear' ?

Unless the club has an outside bit (beer garden type) then you have to go out on the street

I cant see the bouncers being very happy if people are constantly going in and out. They growl at me when I go out once to book a taxi

My thoughts exactly, a non smoker myself so not too fussed, but can see it being a nightmare for folk with the Doorstaff in a few weeks if the Club hasn't got anything in place. Fingers crossed it's relavtively hassle free & they have some sort of area set up?

Get in, i won't stink of smoke on the bus home the following morning, just sweat!

To be honest it would not suprise me to see many people smoking just as they were before the ban was in place. Lets face it i cannot see the bouncers walking around the dance floor putting out fags.

Thats what I think aswell, don't think it will make a difference on nightclubs! too much hassle to sort it all out.

Theyv'e had this ban in place in all bars & nightsclubs in Glasgow for nearly a year, seeing the amount of people a few months back at the Arches go out for cigarettes was nutts!
Clubs will have to uphold the ban all it takes is for 1 non smoker to complain that the restrictions are not being ahered to & the club is in the shit I presume?

Am pleased ave stopped, for the min anyways and will try and continue to.

Edinburgh when i went in January was fkn ridiculous outside whenever we needed a tab, granted it was winter and snowing at times i nearly had to de-frost my lass then me when we went back inside places.

People won't be too bothered at the min like. When winter kicks in they'll be hating it.
I've started smoking alot lately, only when I'm drinking though. I'd never start smoking full time again. The time I used to enjoy it was when I've had a drink.

    aye.
I dont think it will be too much of a problem at junior G tbh, going from the crowd last month most of them could send their jaws out into the street for a tab while they stayed in the club?? ;)
