    Copying (Backing up) DVDs

    right, i want to back up my DVDs in case they get stolen. I havent got a clue about how to do it. I need a step by step, juski style, detailed, idiots guide to copying them.-

    All helpfull info will be rewarded with drink.

    DVDshrink - google for that, and download it.

    You can rip AND burn from that program directly - if you follow the guides that come with the program, or look for some tutorials about that program - your good to go.

    You might need a copy of nero on hand aswell in case you dont burn your ripped/re-encoded dvd's using the burning program within dvd shrink.

    after the whole dvd loads into that prog wot bit do u burn? look for the main file?

    how long should it take to encode a normal film?

    my bro said it was 4 hours or something?? :eek: :confused:

    surely that can't be right?
