Controllers for use with Ableton which if any controllers are people using with ableton? thinking of getting one as keyboard and mouse just dont cut it
was looking for some deals and came accross this 2 x CDJ800MkII and Behringer DJX700 Mixer 2 x RCA Cables 1 x Headphones. Price inc VAT: £1,179.00 me mates got the mixer and its areet i think, same with the decks, jsut wondering on the price
my m8 - smigs off here got a behringer mixer a few year back , played with it for 2 days and sent it back and ordered the pioneer djm600 instead , he says it was fucking terrible , all the fx sounded the same etc !!!
LMFAO, pioneer djm600s are about £560 arent they :spangled: those behringer ones are only about 130 like, probs why
The Behringer is a sweet mixer for learning on. Not as well built as the £600 alternative, but you'd expect that. Effects are shit anyway, so it doesn't matter that they arent as good as the Pioneer.
get a cheap Vestax mixer over that Behringer one, it is fucking horrific as for Ableton, i've got the X-Session controller, 16 Dials, 10 Buttons and a cross fader.......as used by Zabiela so cant be that bad and its only £70

my mate has got a Faderfox and loves it you can literally dump your mouse as you can move about the interface using one of the dials on the Faderfox
I had the Behringer mixer, we had a mix or shall i say me mates had a mix for abotu 12 hrs one weekend when me mam/sister were away and the next day i realised how shit it was when it had been brayed to fuck. The effects were shit it sounded tinny as fuck, at the time i thought it was the muts nuts till someone had to tell me I went out and bought a DJM500 about a week later - wise move
just go for that mate, you'll have a cool setup going, and can always upgrade to a different mixer at a later time if u decide you want to
anyone can turn on a computer lol i've got nout against ableton really, it's cool when used in conjunction with cd decks n that
