Connecting Front USB Why is there no standard for front USB on Cases and boards? My case has these's connectors for the front USB : but my motherboard has a port for this type of connection : so now i found out different companys have diffrent connectors, so i take it i cant use my front usb ports
u should be able to - you'll just have to fudge it! the pin outs will be marked on the motherboard for the FUSB ports
really, so i should be able to do it, by plugging those connectors into the corresponding pins on the port. I will give it ago
yup! just match them up correctly - but the connectors are marked - and the pins the mobo should also be marked
yeah, ive got one of those s shaped usb pin setups on my board... and a bunch of unintelligable wires to go alongside it... bloody things.
i have read the manual, and the 'engrish' bullshit that gigabyte have served up does not correspond at all with the names printed on the wires. :evil: bah.
