Connecting a Sky Dish to a receiver box

    Connecting a Sky Dish to a receiver box

    What type of cable comes from the Sat dish is it just standard coaxial cable? (if so hows it digital for HD?) how do i connect it to the dish is it simple? whats these F connectors i keep reading about that connect to the dish.

    it's not tv coax, it's satellite coax - about the same price with better shielding and quality core.

    F-connectors - they're the satellite/cable connectors with threaded ends. B&Q do ready made cables or just make them yourself - it's a piece of piss, they just twist on the end
