    confused?

can anyone tell me how you work out how many pounds are in euro's at different exchange rates?

Im really confused as there are loads of currency converters, but they dont let you change the exchange rate to see what that would be.

I basically need to work out if £1 = €1.46453, how much would €133,000.00 be, and if £1 = €1.45 how much that would be.

What a thick cunt I am, I cant work out what i need to do lol. Maybe I shouldn't work for a bank lol.

eh? which XR did you use to work that one out?

I need to know €133,000 is when worked out at £1 = €1.46453, and what it is when worked out £1 = €1.45.

sorry Im not making myself clear.

    At 1.46453 it's £90,814.12. At 1.45 it's £91,724.14.

Just divide the total amount of Euros by the exchange rate.

Im confused as to why you'd use an exchange rate of 1.45 when the exchange rate is 1.46453

you're stealing 0.04 Euros for every £1 exchanged

and yes, delete this thread

thats what this company are quoting for sending the money abroad, we were trying to work out with fees and stuff if it would be cheaper through them or the bank.

its a diff of £910 so if the fees for doing it by the bank are less, we will do it that way :)

right but it is £910 more expensive to go with the company, so if the banks fees are cheaper than that then we will have saved money.:)

intelligence has nothing to do with what subject you are studying!!!

This is basic maths like a 7 year old could probably do it.
