    Computer question

If I take a hammer and smash my computer into A MILLION FUCKING PIECES......would I still be able to run system restore when I've calmed down? :D

well since ive never fucked my computer up then ive never needed to use it anyway ;)

anything that i change i usually know how to change it back manually if theres a problem rather than have system restore put it back to god knows what.

plus the main reason people have such a problem with spyware and viruses is because they have system restore on and it simply restores the spyware or virus back onto the computer after its been eradicated.

Why do you keep on using it?

Think before you post, it stops you from making yourself look like a pleb.

Ah well I've never used it on my computer because It never fucks it, because I keep it clean form dodgy shit, my flatmate on the other hand seems to fuck his computer all the time and I have to jump in a rescue all his files.

But It is a very good feature I feel definatley good to get files back instead of formatting, and losing everything. But I also don't have this problem because I back my stuff up on my usb hard drive at regular intervals.

System Restore would be good if viruses etc didn't exist, I've seen peeps fuck over their pc's again and again because they didn't turn it off (or set restore points, then what's the point?).

Back-ups, ghosting, and knowing how to use windows repair or safe mode is the way forward - I've never ever faced a problem on anyone's pc that has resulted in a complete reformat, with how XP is designed almost everything is repairable.

The only time I'd recommend anyone to keep system restore on would be if they will never have an internet connection.

    So sayeth dodgy :)
