Re: computer, fooked excellent technical description..... Sounds like the boot sector of your PC is chuffed.... u got yer XP disk?
dont have an xp disc as it was pre-installed on my pc when i bought it, the actual message is boot failure run boot diskette i do this and it loads then asks for master cd1 but in spanish :spangled: i think its fooked totally, anywhere capable of fixing things like this??
You got your recovery disks that came with it? thats 1 option - but you'll lose EVERYTHING on the hard drive OTHERWISE try get a copy of XP off someone - you'll be able to run the 'Recovery Console' and possibly fix it....
it came with a recovery program floppy disk which i have used and that is what brings up the spanish lingo shite. ive re-booted a few times in the 3 yrs ive had the pc and its been fine after, dont mind losing whats on it but will see if i can get an xp disc.
If it came pre-installed on summinck like an HP/Compaq machine, you press F10 (I think) when booting to go to the hidden XP recovery partition...
