Im expecting this to be the start of a busy final week for us in the transfer market, from what ive heard Kenwyne Jones (6million + Stern John) Danny Higginbotham (4m + Danny collins) and Ian Harte (free) should all be complete this week, with Julio Arca and Danny Murphy as possibilities also. Cole will do a job imo, only a 1yr contract until we are established at this level and young forwards like Chopra and Stokes will benefit from him being around.
not a bad buy for you lot, he'll bring some experience to the side, and while he's not as prolific as he once was, there's only one person who's scored more goals than him in the premier league
