How busy are the clubs around this time? Im looking to go for 2 weeks at the back end of september in hope that the clubs will be less busy. August last year was ridiculous - you couldnt actually move at Space or Amnesia! It took us an hour to get from the back room to the main room and when we eventually got in there we had no chance of getting amongst it so just left!
Dunno, I've always gone in August but it's always been far to hot and far too busy at some of the nights. Used to like it that way though. I've heard it's a more appreciative/clued up crowd that go for the closers. Not sure how busy it gets though. We're booking it this weekend and I've just checked the hotel we were gonna book into and it looks like we can only get week beginning 20th September. At least I get to see Pierce and Magda on the terrace though
I normally go in august too and it was never as busy as it was last year. Those dates are probably when ill be going - I like a packed club but last year was probably the worst ive ever come across, it ruined it tbh. You pay that much money and once your in there its almost impossible to get on the dancefloor! Just hope its not as busy this year.
September is alot less busy Dan. We went in september 3 years ago and it was spot on, much better than august. The clubs got busy but not so you couldn't move.
Aye i remember you saying. I just think that Hawtin and the rest of them attract more people than any other group of DJ's so where ever they are playing it will be the same - Fabric was the same a few weeks back! Being able to move my feet 6 inches in front of me would have been a relief last year! z
Aye it might get just as packed with them two playing but I still think it wont be as bad as august and even if it is that's only one night. The other nights you go to wont be as bad.
last year there was a lad at our hotel who said he actually climbed half a flight stairs in Amnesia without moving a leg it was that rammed. Dan, reckon Cocoon will be as packed as Coxy at Space? Now that was heavin!!!
that was 3 years ago You cany move in cocoon or dc for all of september these days its greasy central. these two nights dont drop off like the others
Yeah, There's a reason why august is the busiest and always will be. Racoon and DC10 may still be packed to the rafters in sept but i didn't go to either in 2005. Everywhere else didn't seem as busy though.
