How the fuck did martins miss that near the end?

If he had taken even half his chances this season we wouldn't be where we are, fuck knows what happened pre-season but hes the shadow of the player he was in his first year.

    :bonkers:

That's generally what happens when players join the Toon. Great prospects, then all of a sudden their career's in tatters.

The key games for the mags are Boro, Portsmouth and Fulham at home. 3 winnable games at home with 50,000 fans behind you.

They were never going to get anything today imo, though win them 3 and it should be enough to keep you up as i cant see 'boro or Hull picking up many more points this season.

Aye i didnt really expect to win today like, not with ten men cos Kevin Nolan again didnt turn up...

Off what i seen too i would play Martins / Owen and Viduka up front next game if Viduka manages to open his eyes by then...

If like Graham said we dont win them 3 games at home then its destination Championship like, ill get a canny henry off the rebate due anyways if we go down so that might "numb" the pain so to speak

Were going down, gotta win all 3 games at home is a massive ask considering the players have no heart & we've only won 4 games at home all season anyway. After todays & the performance at Stoke (games we had to get something from) I've lost the little hope I had in me. As much as it hurts to say we DESERVE to go down.
