    Clubbing

What does everyone think of clubbing at the mo. it all seems 2 b going into decline, promise fortnightly the demise of crasher!

personally i think a lot of this has 2 do with arrogrance between genres. lots of people think one genre they like is better than others. i think mauro picotto touched on this with an interview he done about the british club scene.

also 2 many people are bothered about what a dj's mixing is like etc! instead of just having fun.

4 me clubbing is not as gud as it use to be to b honest i have more fun in baja these days than when i go clubbing!

my point is clubbing is not as funas it use to b! i think this is because people are 2 bothered about how a dj's mixing is and take the whole thing 2 seriously the fun has gone out of it!

it's defo not wot it used to be!:(
i totally agree with you paul about ppl thinking too much on mixing, seems like no one can have fun any more and consentrate too much on mixing than enjoying them selves!!

i still never thought this would happen so soon!

I dont take it serious at all, I go to have a laugh and meet people who are interested in the same thing.....to me baja and places like that are even more serious..who can pull the most, drink the most and fight the most.....clubbin is what you make it..if you forget that its meant to be fun then it will get boring....

I blame posers aka chicken heads & cocaine.

Everyone want to go posing down Stereo instead of sweaty clubbing.

Some club nights might be doing shit but I am having some of my best nights out NOW! The people I see out & about are lot better than the shit that was clubbing 10 years ago!

The only problem with todays clubber is DANCING it is the last thing todays modern clubber wants to do!

    LETS ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think that clubbing is going into decline, it's just that Trance and Superclubs are losing popularity.

I have to admit, I'd rather pay a tenner to go to a smaller night with a more intimate venue and see Mint DJ's like GRH and Shan who have great talent, than pay £25 to go to gatecrasher and see yet another set by Armin, playing the same tunes again.

I love Crashers plan at the mo book 1 DJ and charge the same entry price as when they had 4 or 5 DJs on!
I know they will have to pay that DJ a bit more fee wise but they are saving a hell of lot cash which isnt being passed down the line to the punter!
