Clubbed Up Radio music policy change - DJs/Promoters/Producers wanted! After nearly 8 years of Clubbed Up Radio we decide to start a new chapter in its illustrious career and take on new ventures. It has gone from being a small AM radio show, only accessible to anyone within a 20 mile range of our stations home in Wolverhampton, to being the force it is today broadcasting worldwide on the internet reaching audiences in America, Australia, South Africa, Japan, Canada, Holland and various other parts of Europe including cities and towns throughout Britain. This to add to our newly gifted FM license, making us available to an even bigger audience across the midlands. We have been thankfull to have some of the biggest names in hard dance on the show, but we feel its now time to move on! We have decided that a change of music policy is needed. Our original roots playing hard house has slowly become our second choice of music, so as of July Clubbed Up Radio’s music policy will be changing to suit a wider variety of clubbers. Each week, Danny Roberts and Steve Arnold as usual will be hosting the show. We will be focusing on a different variation of music ranging from house, minimal, tech-house, electro, breaks and techno. Here’s how the structure of the show will be – Opening hour CD of the week - If you are interested in getting your mix played live on air then please contact danny@clubbedup.co.uk for a chance to fill the infamous spot. What’s on guide – We will be picking the best nights in the country that will be worthy of your dancing shoes gracing its sacred floors. If you want your night advertised live on air send the details to steve@clubbedup.co.uk Belte’s Belters – From 8.45pm, our resident geek Tom Belte will be giving us the lowdown and samples of the latest tracks to buy and to watch out for in the near future. 2nd Hour This will be allocated for our guest Dj of the week who will join us live in the studio. This will vary from the most in demand up-and-coming talent our great nation has to offer to the floor filling Djs that pack out our clubs week in week out up and down the country. An interview to begin the hour followed by an uncut mix till 10pm will form the final 60 minutes. We have already begun filling up the dates for the show, but we have some slots still vacant so if you think you have what it takes to feature on the show then get in touch! We are headhunting potential guest Djs and CD’s of the week to feature on the show. With our mailing list of over 50,000 email addresses, an ever expanding Don’t Stay In Group as well as the many different options available to listen to the show, you can guarantee that we will have listeners galore tuning into the fresh new sounds you have to offer…interested? We can use your and your promotion to do a special one off show live on the air, giving you a chance to promote your forthcoming events, give away some tickets in true radio competition fashion as well as the final hour being capped off in style by one of your resident Djs. The studios are based in Wolverhampton and have been running for around 20 years now. Recently, we have been given a massive grant from the government which has meant 2 of the 4 studios has been refurbished to replicate those used at Radio One, another one of our studios is exclusively used regularly by the BBC to broadcast several of their programs.
