Climax Recordings update After a quiet end to 2004, Climax is starting 2005 with a bang! Currently in the shops - Fields - "Rush Hour" (Orignal and Fretwell Remixes) - gorgeous summery vocal uptemp houser, shades of The Beloved. Fretwell turns out one of his best remixes to date with a lush deep four-four / breaks hybrid. Support from Sasha, Digweed, Pappa, Lisle, MoShic, Debo, Bonham and Cargo to name a few. Up next - There'll be two side-by-side releases, promoing in the next couple of weeks or so - Daniel Gregory - "Oceana" (Original Mix & Forth's Encoded Breaks) - this will actually be Dan's debut release. A brand new version for the original mix, proper progressive. GU's The Forth f&%k things up a bit for their breaks re-rub - a quite stunning package. Expect support from the usual suspects. J & S Project - "Outer Spaces" (Synth Mix & Dub Mix) - hotly-tipped Italian duo, currently getting props from MoShic, Jeff Bennett and James Zabiela. Chunky, groovey house is what this is all about. The "Dub Mix" being a little deeper. Like I said, both these will be doing the promo rounds within the next couple of weeks. Following that, we've got - OkoTek & Delphi pres. - "Tomorrows Own" (Original Mix & Innate Remix) - Holmes Ives (along with Scott Fogelgren and Will Hetzel) is back with this deep, dark and devastating tribal cut. The long over-due return of Baroque's Keith McDonnell in his Innate guise on the flip, bringing the track out of the depths, and adding a bit of groove. Already big with Anthony Pappa, Barry Gilbey and Parks & Wilson. Also on the horizon - Tracks and remixes from Fretwell, Trafik, Stu Hirst, Sexual Deviants, Phasebase, Openair, Jacob Steele, Transforming Groove Factor, Red & Blue, J-Punch and more. Also, J-Punch's very special debut album. So as you can imagine, 2005 is set to be an exciting year for Climax Recordings. Cheers, J @ Climax www.climaxrecordings.co.uk
