Chopping up

What program can I use to chop the start off a track? nice and simple, to say cut the first ten seconds off?

I don't want to know how to do it in Ableton

sound forge will do it easy enough

Nero Wave Editor does it fine.

Or if you need something free - Audacity.

i use soundforge but that is good for a free program

So did I until it told me I had to register the mp3 plug-in and I couldn't!
